Welcome to my new College and Career Planning website. It is my hope to offer guidance to students as they seek answers to their questions. It is never too early to begin thinking about academic and career goals. Early planning is essential and it will give students a better chance at reaching their goals in a more timely manner.
On the left are links to several pages. Academic Planning provides information about the course selections offered at Chinese Christian Schools. Students can use the information to begin mapping out the courses they may enroll in during their life-time in high school, taking special note of any pre-requisites for the course. Students will also see what the minimum course requirements are for graduation and college entrance.
The College Planning page provides information to help students find the right fit college for them. The seniors will be especially interested in this page as it will provide updates for the seniors on the application process.
The Career Planning page provides resources to help students find out who they are and what their interests are. For the student who doesn't really know his strengths or interests, this is a good beginning. Information about various careers and what people at these jobs really do will also be available.
The Scholarship and Contest page will be updated periodically to provide information of current scholarships students may apply to or contests that students may wish to enter.
Lastly, the Resource page provides a list of resources that may further assist students and their families. Included on this page is a link to Summer and College Prep Programs. Check out the list and plan ahead for the summer. There is something for a variety of interests.
